A little about me! I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Oklahoma State University. (GO POKES!) It was there my passion for real estate began. I renovated a fixer-upper, rented out the extra bedrooms to pay for college.
After graduating, I moved to California and began my real estate career in 2007, specializing in commercial apartment sales of 10+ units in the Greater Los Angeles market. Feeling the need to experience both coasts, I moved to Florida in 2009. I held the title of Director of Marketing and Sales Development with a media-consulting group in Downtown Miami. It wasn't long until my love of real estate pulled me back in and I acquired my Florida Real Estate salesperson license, specializing in residential home and condo rentals and sales. I started working at Smith & Co Real Estate in 2012, under the direction of my Broker and Auctioneer, Ira Smith. Smith & Co was named Top Real Estate Company by Woodward News' Best of the Best Awards in 2001, 2012, 2015 2017 & 2018. I am honored to have received the "2017 Top Real Estate Agent" presented by Woodward News' Best of the Best Awards. In 2018 I began servicing the Wichita Real Estate market. I am honored to have received the " 2021-2024 Top Real Estate Agent" for The Readers Choice BEST OF WICHITA presented by The Wichita Eagle.
Fast forward to 2023, when I took the experience to open my own brokerage, OWN Real Estate. I strive to provide a remarkable home buying and selling experience. My business is built on Dedication, Communication, Integrity and Trust while embodying the ability to listen and adapt to individual clients' needs. For over 15 years, I have committed to a "people-first" approach with a focus to make your life easier through the entire process. I am empowered by innovated marketing strategies for sellers and devotion to buyers. I am a member of the South Central Board of Realtors, Kansas Board of Realtors, and National Board of Realtors.
Former Chairman for the American Red Cross 100th Year Celebration. Other charities I support include: Ambucs, Domestic Crisis Center, CASA and United Way.
When I'm not working, my family get all my attention! My husband Tyler, and our 3 children make my life complete. We love the outdoors, traveling and going on adventures as a family. We have a strong passion for cooking and entertaining, as I married a trained chef! We enjoy checking out local restaurants or having friends over for dinner. Oh, and did I mention I love decorating!
